I started a weekend theatre arts school called “The Hampstead Factory” in 2001. For 12 years I ran the business as a sole trader and have developed a wide range of skills from marketing to debt collecting, negotiating, excell, word, social media, advertising, accounts, producing and directing over thirty theatre and film productions, performance based birthday parties and agency work. I am proud to have steered the business safely through the recession and it currently has an agency, two main schools and 2 performing arts clubs teaching confidence building and life skills to 4-17 year olds through theatre and film. In June this year I sold the schools and clubs but I have retained a stake in it through ownership of the Trademarks and Copyright for possible Franchise opportunities in the future.

Sept 2002-Present Cheltenham Ladies College

I regularly teach at CLC-LAMDA Examinations in Speech, Acting, Communication skills, Musical Theatre Singing and Dance for all ages. I was Assistant Director on “She’s Having a Baby” which was taken up to the Edinburgh Festival.

Sept 2019 -Present Freelance Teacher at My Stageschool run by Ellie Marsden in Cheltenham.

Sept 2000-Sept 2004 Examiner with Trinity College London

Examining youngsters from 4 to 17 years in Individual Acting Skills, communication, Verse and Prose to Musical Theatre. Travelling around the country to examine youngsters, writing reports and giving constructive criticism on the work presented.

Sept 1994-Sept 2000 Co-operative Acting Agent “Actorum” London.I worked in a co-operative acting agency for many years in London, representing adult actors (as well as myself) sourcing work and gaining contracts. I gained valuable knowledge about the industry, auditions and casters.
